Islamabad: On Friday, Pakistan announced a three-day suspension of phone services in the city for the session of the Organisation of Islamic Corporation, the ministry informed that the phone services in Islamabad will not be active from 17 to 19 December due to this meeting.

The state announced a public holiday on 20th December to ensure the safety of the dignitaries returning to their homelands.

The phone services will be banned from the airport to the Red Zone. The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority received a letter from interior ministers on this matter.

The local media reported that the organization will be discussing how to help and supply the ration and medicine to the people of Afghanistan in this dire situation.
