I’m here to declare that we have decided to repeal the three farm laws…We will complete all the formalities during the Parliament session that begins this month”. The Prime Minister also urged to farmers for going back to their respective homes after a year.

The controversial bill was passed in the month of September 2020 with a voice vote in the monsoon session of parliament. This made farmers angry and they came out on roads. Since then Farmers’ protests have been only growing big. The protest continued during the lockdown.
