The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) to kick start the year 2022 with the launch of the first mission of the year named PSLV-C52 is set on February 14. The satellite is designed to orbit the earth.
The launch of the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV-C52) is scheduled to launch at 5:59 hours on Monday. The satellite will be launched from the First Launch Pad of Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota, Bengaluru.
The satellite is designed to orbit the EOS-04. The satellite weighs 1710 kg into a synchronous polar orbit 529 km away. The mission will also include two small satellites as co-passengers.
EOS 04 is a Radar Imaging Satellite designed to high provide high-quality images under all weather conditions of the world.
The ISRO said,” The countdown process of 25 hours and 30 minutes leading to the launch would commerce at 4:29 hours on February 13 2022 after all authorization by the Launch Authorization Board,”.
On the other hand, ISRO said that INSAT 4B has undergone post-mission disposal after its end of life followed by decommissioning on January 24, 2022.
ISRO stated further that the finally achieved is about 340km above GEO attitude in perfect coordination with IADC guidelines.
The disposal of the satellite has a marvelous success with flawless execution which marks yet another effort by ISRO to ensure the safe and secure space operations, ISRO added.
