Rahul Gandhi tweeted, “There is strength in our union. Our Union of cultures. Our Union of Diversity. Our Union of Languages. Our Union of People. Our Union of States”.
After presenting his tweet, the Assam office of Bhartiya Janta Party on Monday has decided to file a thousand sedition cases.
In his tweet, Rahul Gandhi further stated that from Kashmir to Kerala and from Gujarat to West Bengal, India is beautiful in all colors and does not insulate the spirit of the country.0
When the tweet came the Chief Minister of Assam, Tripura, and Manipur said that the MP of Congress missed the northeast. It is said that Rahul Gandhi deliberately missed the states conceded to the demand for Arunachal Pradesh from the Chinese.
Tripura Chief Minister said “In order to preach Mr. Rahul Gandhi has forgotten our Northeast states which is beautiful. Like his grandfather he also excluded us. We are an integral part of the nation and the states have been forgotten due to party’s total wipeout from the Northeast”.
Manipur chief minister tweeted “It disturbs me when the senior leader of INC ignores the existence of Northeastern states.”
Pratima Bhoumik Union minister of state in the ministry of social justice and empowerment tweeted that the real insult is Rahul Gandhi missing all the northeastern states even in his criticisms. This reflects the intent of the party.
While filing the case comes when students of Assam are protesting against Assam chief minister because of statement on Rahul Gandhi where he said that will Rahul Gandhi ask proof from Rajiv Gandhi being his father.
Now how will the cases be taken up and what will be done Rahul Gandhi will see and it will be an interesting political foreground.
