Tuesday: The Right-wing Party BJP won the Maharashtra Polls on Tuesday, the elections were held on December 10, Friday. The party won the civic polls with six seats.
On the victory, Opposition Part Leader Fadnavis said “BJP has busted the MVA’s myth that the three parties (Shiv Sena, NCP, and Congress) can win every election in the state by contesting together”.
District Information Office Informs that 362 votes were secured out of 554 in Nagpur by Chandrashekhar Bawankule, while Mangesh Deshmukh won 186 seats independently supported by MVA. Shiv Sena’s three-time winner MLC Gopikishan Bajoria was defeated by BJP’s Vasant Khandelwal in Akola-Washims-Buldhana.
Earlier, MVA was claiming that they will win the elections, as all the three parties are coming together.
Khandelwal attributed the win to the strategy.
