New Delhi: Federation of All India Doctors’ Association called for complete healthcare services across India from 8 a.m. on December 29 after the alleged violence during the protest on Monday.
The members of FAIMA who were protesting stated that “the resident doctors were protesting peacefully when police started lathicharge on female doctors”. The police who carried out lathicharge were male police.
The resident doctors are protesting in Delhi against the constant delay of NEET-PG Counselling 2021. On Monday, the clash was reported during the protest Police and doctors both are claiming injuries. After the clash between Police and Doctors, doctors’ agitation has increased and they have called out for an All India withdrawal of services.
Delhi Police filed FIR on doctors for rioting, causing obstruction in police duty, and vandalism. The FIR was filed on Monday by IP Estate Police station.
