The policies were presented in the 36th National Security Committee meeting of Pakistan which involved the participation of key members like Prime Minister Imran Khan, Chairman joint Chief of staff community, all services chief, national security advisor, senior civil and military officers. The details were informed in a press release after the meeting.
The officials say that these policies are citizen-centric and are focused on the security of citizens and the economy. The policies are made with consideration of suggestions given by stakeholders – informed the officials. They also informed that the policies are aimed at strengthening the state security apparatus to fight against internal and foreign security threats.
The NSP will be presented in the cabinet today, for final approval. Prime Minister instructed to present and implementation progress report every month.
