PRIME MINISTER MODI’S SPEECH IN THE PARLIAMENT IS TO ATTACK CONGRESS-SASHI THAROOR

MONDAY: Congress MP Shashi Tharoor on Monday stated that a large part of the speech of Prime Minister Modi which he gave in the parliament targeted the Indian National Congress. “The party should be totally flattered that the PM of the nation devoted his speech on us and he sees us that way”, he added. 

Shashi Tharoor gave his statement as a reply to the debate that took place in the Lok Sabha on the account of thanks to the President’s address, PM Modi slashed the Congress on various issues in the morning session on Monday which included his statement that the opposition has not left their arrogance even after a number of defeats. The party is banking on the divide and rule policy making them the “tukde- tukde gang”, PM Modi added.

On PM Modi’s statement where he called Congress “tukde-tukde” gang, Shashi Tharoor in his statement to the press said further that Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) is the real “tukde-tukde” gang as they have divided the country on the basis of religions of Hindus and Muslims, separated people on language lines leading to differences in the North and South part of the country.
