THE WARNING OF THE LUDHIANA EXPLOSION WAS RECEIVED PRIOR TO THE INCIDENT

Friday: Primary investigation of Ludhiana District court explosion revealed that the person who died in the explosion was carrying the explosives. He was a criminal whose handlers were in Pakistan.

The warning of the explosion was given by the intelligence earlier. The intelligence department sent two letters to the Punjab Police warning of such attacks. However, the police could not stop the explosion. The warning letters informed of the expected attack from Pakistan and Khalistan, AGDP also informed about the expected weapon smuggling across the borders through drones. The warning was sent on December 14.

The explosion could be RDX or PETN which are high-grade explosives.

The smugglers had already crossed the borders before the warning, informed the letter.

The area under risk included Ludian’s court complex.

The letter informed about the active sleeper cells in the area.

Such circumstances usually put the police on high alert.
