The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team which is under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology issues a warning for android operating users who are using android 9, Android 10, Android 11, and Android 12. It is a high severity warning.
The advisory reported multiple vulnerabilities in the system that can be exploited. The flaws exist in the Media Codec and Media Components in Google Play System updates, framework components, system components, Kernel Components, Qualcomm components, Qualcomm closed-source components, and MediaTek Components.
The advisory suggests that it is possible that the attacker will be able to execute arbitrary code, obtain sensitive information, gain elevated privileges, and cause a denial of service conditions on the targeted system.
Google has acknowledged these vulnerabilities last week and launched a security patch.
